Mary is a musician, dancer and dance caller. She plays piano for several Scottish, Ceilidh, Contra and English dance bands; in addition, she is a Concertina and Hammered Dulcimer player.

Mary is an RSCDS-certified Scottish Country Dance Teacher, and has been the leader and artistic director of several dance troupes, including the RSCDS Demonstration Team and the Mary Morrisson Dancers. She has put together shows and performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Poets Den Theater, Big Gray, as well as numerous Scottish events and celebrations. She teaches regularly at Scotia and the NY RSCDS. She regularly teaches Scottish Ceilidh Dancing for the NY Caledonian Club.

Mary is a Scottish, Contra, and English dancer. In addition to piano, she also plays traditional music on the English Concertina and Hammered Dulcimer.
